"Great little spot! Staff was very helpful when needed, clean and quiet. Convenient store/restaurant next door was absolutely the best, staff and store alike. This was a great center spot for all the places we wanted to see!"

"Gorgeous views, enjoyable. Parking was tricky if you stay at main house, so beware if you arrive late. Lady working was very friendly and helpful! The room was not spotless and could use more attention (we saw a bottle of water under the bed and a single sugar packet behind nightstand). Besides that we would not doubt to come back."

"Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our view of the harbor and the lobster boats coming and going. Our hostess was very gracious and prepared a wonderful breakfast. She knows the area well and gave great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. We really enjoyed our stay here."

"To sum up our stay at On the Rocks, I’m just going to say “Wow”. Usually the pictures of a place are better than the reality. In this case, the pictures did not do justice to what we experienced. Being so close to the mesmerizing Georges Pond was so peaceful and lovely. We took advantage of all the great places from which to view it, inside and out. The inside of the cabin was also so well done and inviting. We enjoyed the fire pit and hearing the loons’ calls in the evenings."

Quiet and Cozy Seaside Cottage with Amazing Sunsets

"This was our second year staying at this property and, once again, it was perfect for our needs. More people could have comfortably stayed here, but my daughter and I found the space to be just right for the two of us. The view from the rear of the house is gorgeous; we saw deer almost every night; the nighttime sky sparkles with stars. There are plenty of nearby beaches to comb and trails to hike. Inside the very clean and well supplied house, we could choose to play games, read or watch tv if the weather wasn’t cooperating or if we just wanted to be lazy. There is an easy to use grill on the deck, and a new-this-year easy to use stove in the kitchen. The host is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would highly recommend this property but selfishly hope no one rents it so I can have it whenever I want!"
