"Monica was such a great host! I wish I could give a 6-star rating if there was one. Her whole family waited late and greeted us on a cold rainy night. Our car had some scratches and I asked them what store in Italy we could buy stuff to rub off the scratches before we return the car the next day. "We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The location is excellent and the town was a beautiful 10 minute stroll from the hotel along a promenade. The staff (all of them - reception, breakfast, bar and cleaning) were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a great view over the bay at sunset which also serves small plates of food. We had an amazing view from our room - the only slight negative was that the room was slightly small for all our stuff (a 10 day stay) - but the bed itself was large and comfortable. In Lerici itself there are a wide range of restaurants and bars, and ferries available to take you to the Cinque Terre. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and that takes you to La Spezia station if you want to get a train to other places (we went to Portofino). The hotel is situated right opposite a lovely sandy public beach. The water was beautifully clear and the beach was clean. You have several options if you want to pay for sun lounger - our preference were the ones which were to the left as you look out of the hotel. The staff there were friendly and you could get food and drinks from their bars. We had read very good reviews of the hotel, it's staff and location and I'm very pleased to say that it reflected those reviews. If you want to come to the area, we thoroughly recommend the hotel and it's team"

"The location was great! About a 8-9min walk to the train station and near plenty of cafes and food spots. The room was very clean. WiFi and air conditioning was great. Shared amenities like iron and kitchen supplies should you need them. Only thing that isn’t ideal is the room isn’t sound proof so any sound in the street or the corridors can be heard in the room- overall wasn’t much of an issue for us."
