"Owners were helpful and tried their best with English / French translating. Pool was lovely- unclear on booking though that you got 2 slots a day - these had to be pre booked for the week on day of arrival. Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival - we hadn't realised we needed to bring all our own cleaning materials, bin liners etc but we will be better prepared next time. We were very grateful for our hire car as nearest shops were a bit too far for us to walk - especially in the heat we...

The 24 hour laundry service was fantastic, allowing us to pack fewer clothes. Many good restaurants nearby, as stated. Being able to go to supermarket and cook in your accommodation made our trip very relaxing and our time was our own. There was no pressure. We would visit Residence Pierre & Vacancies Chant de Oi"

"La propriété est un véritable havre de paix. On s'y sent immédiatement comme chez soi. L'ameublement est raffiné et l'espace généreux. Top Commes Hotel Reviews

Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre

10/10 Excellent

"Nice location. Historic building."

Château de Bellefontaine

8/10 Good

"The property’s setting is exceptional and please don’t miss out on having dinner at their restaurant. It is great value, delicious and very convenient. Their breakfast was very good and had lots of options. We had a deluxe room. The only reason way it wasn’t a 5 star is that the toilet is in a separate room from the show. The minor inconvenience made up for by being on the ground floor walk out and having lots of place in the room. We also liked the parking. Merci à tous!"

Sure Hotel by Best Western Caen Mémorial

8/10 Good

"A warm reception from the staff, good English which always makes me feel guilty! Clean, comfortable and well maintained with every staff member engaging, helpful and professional. Rooms were comfy, food although a limited choice, was well prepared and tasty. Breakfast though was a little light on choice, but was ok. It has a small gym and a heated pool. My one little criticism is if it's raining there is nowhere outside that is covered. What i mean is there are no overhanging shelters of any kind. So if you are a smoker then rain will mean you need an umbrella. Other than that, plenty of parking, good location close to the memorial museum and only 30 mins from the ferry"
