“Very friendly. helpful owners. Nice continental breakfast not included in the price. No carpark, although parking available on nearby roads. A steep, spiral climb to the bedrooms was difficult, especially for older people. Various basic repairs need attending to, ie shower setting in Room 3 faulty and couldn't easily be adjusted. It was running far too hot, Sharing the bathroom with the other rooms was inconvenient and the toilet was extremely slow to refill after previous use, So we asked……

“A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have……
