“Lovely 1st floor flat, very close to the beach with easy beach access which was what we wanted. The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. We appreciated the welcome package of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and chocolate!……

“This place is truly unique and full of character. Warm, peaceful, comfortable, great Wi-Fi, and equipped with everything you need. The proximity to Bristol is perfect, plus there’s free parking and a lovely pub just down the road. Nick is an absolute legend of a host — incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return.”

“Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.”

“Bel appartement à proximité du centre-ville à pied. Parc Bute à 5 min...Tout était parfait, à part la literie....un peu juste pour 5 adultes ( 1 lit de 140 cm avec un matelas dont on sent très fort les ressorts, et 2 lits de 130 cm....très confortables quand on y dort seul mais un peu juste pour y dormir à 2). À part ça, nous y avons passé un très agréable sejour.”
