“Staff were lovely, food in bar was lovely with nice menu. Location is ok but parking can take time. Room facing onto Main Street extremely noisy. Adjoining rooms very loud when tap was used and toilets were flushed. Room very warm we had a fan and when turned on was full of dust and fluff. Breakfast was disappointing - sausages not cooked pure white, eggs floating in grease, very poor continental choice. Toilet in room needs attention it’s loose from wall.”

“Poor communication and customer service. We booked for one night only and we waited for an hour for someone to come to let us in. When someone arrived to let us up to the apartment, we were told it was still being cleaned so we dropped our bags and had to wait until 5:30pm to access the room. Had we known we could not access the unit until 2.5 hours after normal check-in time we would have booked elsewhere. Alex, the guy we dealt with over the phone, was unhelpful and rude saying its our……

The hospitality and atmosphere in the main property were very high quality, setting a wonderful standard. The Bad (The Lodge Experience): Unfortunately, The Lodge feels like the neglected stepchild of the property.
