We were able to get up in the morning to peace and tranquility. We went on an early morning hike each day with our dog seeing the most beautiful wild flowers, rolling hills, fog and an area that made us feel we were in Norway. We were there in December at -6ยบ an the cabin stayed warm and cozy. Being able to hike all the trails from the front door was great. Fridge is tiny, so be aware on how much food you bring. Older people be warned that to get to the bedroom you do have to climb a ladder but we are over 65 and had no problem. At night you have the whole park to yourself which is amazing. The location was private yet close to all trails. On the downside, the ladder to get upstairs was difficult resulting in only 1 person able to sleep in a bed.
