"Ah it is ok. For €170 solo, a bit poor value. It's a budget hotel charging semi-premium prices. Pay more and go elsewhere. Food was very bland. I just don't get it here. I travel a lot. "

"Very helpful staff. Lovely clean rooms. Although we didn’t have a dog, I noticed someone with one and by reception there was a bowl of water and a bowl with dog treats. I can’t see any reason why there would be issues with taking a dog. If I had one, I would be happy to take it there."

"Staff were lovely and welcoming couldn't of been nicer. Room was cleaned to a high standard and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! Would highly recommend and hope to be back at some stage. Breakfast was so tasty! My only gripe is paying €15 extra for parking although this is very clear when booking. You won't regret staying here. Thank you to all the staff!"

"The hotel is a bit old. Good room size but very small bathroom. No upgrades mentioned nor provided. Good shuttle to airport terminal."

"Clean, friendly staff, free parking. Although I did not indulge, the staff prepares breakfast if you choose. The kitchen is right by the dining area, almost like moms making you a meal :)"

"We had the best stay at the Dean Hotel. I highly recommend. Everything you want to see is a 5-35 min walk. Great for exploring the city. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. While visiting Ireland, I found out my great aunt had passed away. I was in need of finding a place to print a picture of her and Flowers. When explaining everything to the receptionist, she helped me with printing off my great aunt’s picture and gave a really great recommendation to a flower shop, and I was able to perform a small funeral for great aunt. I wish I could remember her name. She is a gem and deserves a raise and a bonus for doing what she did. We also really enjoyed Sophie’s (a restaurant and bar) which is on the Top floor and had a blast gabbing with Wayne the bar manager. He made us laugh and was great for conversation. The room was so comfortable, clean and it felt like we had one of the best views of the city. Come here if you want to get a taste of the life and people of Cork. "
