Pretty clean overall. The kitchen drawers needed to be cleaned because of crumbs and what looked like coffee grounds. Beds were comfy. The outside patio furniture needs to be replaced. The chairs were both unusable. There were some stools that we used instead. The showers had rain heads and were really nice. Looks like they were updated recently. Outside lights weren’t all working so it was dark going up the stairs. Kenny was really nice and checked on us. The boardwalk going to the beach was handy. Was awesome for my wife & I & for our adult son & his roommate. Everyone had a bit of privacy. We will definitely consider renting again. Location was awesome and the house is settled in a really small private neighborhood. The house is beautifully equipped with everything anyone could need. There was even beach toys and chairs etc. The golf cart was in very good condition and our whole trip cost us just $5 in gas. We toured everywhere in the golf cart so this was a really big asset to the property and kept our vehicle safe and clean at the house. The host was awesome and answered all questions with speed. The house was also decorated very tastefully with a cute seaside theme. After looking at the last review, I was a bit concerned. I reached out to the property manager and they quickly responded to my concern, sharing that they had spent time making improvements. Overall, things were great! There's a bit of a fishy smell in the fridge/freezer, but it's not bad and the manager has been informed. A bit irritated that a previous tenant was careless and perhaps a bit self absorbed. Bring a cooler and keep your bait there chucklehead. The property is a short walk to the beach. The golf cart was a huge benefit! When we opened the fridge and freezer to store food we were hit with the revolting smell of fish. This property has obviously allowed fishermen to store dead fish in freezer/fridge. We could not use the ice and had to throw away anything like grapes, blueberries, lettuce as the stench stuck to everything. I had to bleach out my icechest and containers we brought home. Worse is the bottom step was broken in half. I sprained my ankle and will see a doctor as it is not better after 10 days. My son-in-law went face first in the dirt carrying items to the car. I am 67 and have had 4 spine surgeries. If it had been me I would be suing. One of my sons also twisted his ankle coming down the steps. The third bedroom is virtually unuseable. There is a window which has no curtain or cover that beams in the neighbor's lights all night. There is also no door for this "bedroom". There was disgusting mold in the coffee maker as it had not been cleaned out and dishes that were so greasy that it was gross. We all slept comfortably and the location was perfect. The location was awesome, we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the ocean! Unfortunately the cart was being worked on, but Kenny was gracious and got us a cart to use during our time there.
