Relaxing Birthday Trip

Pros: Easy parking, central location, excellent views.
Cons: There is construction in Corpus Christi. Roads, buildings, and some on the Omni. Nothing out of hand just a good economy and forward motion.
Location: Ocean, Museums, Parks, Restaurants and Bars.
Check-in was quick and painless, after calling the concierge earlier in the day informing them of my husbands Birthday we were meet with a sweet set-up. Cake flowers and champagne. As always the Omni does not disappoint. We had a great view, quiet room and the staff was extremely professional and accommodating.

Great View

The view was awesome. For a four star the room was lacking. Construction workers weren't courteous and slammed doors in the hallway at 7am. This was frustrating.

Lot's of noise and terrible location

Pros: Free airport shuttle
Cons: Change room's adjacent to evaluator shaft to maids closet like all other hotels.
Location: Ghost town - Saturday night and nothing going on expect shady characters on the corners. Would choose another area if you want to dine /drink in town.
Stayed in room by elevator shaft - was like being on a jetway as it goes "whoosh" up and down all night long and causes room to rattle. Requested new room but was advised they were totally booked. City was DEAD and felt unsafe just a block from the room - no nightlife or vibe to area. Dined at Republic of Texas and found food and atmosphere to be mediocre - one positive was that the wine list was reasonably priced and had nice selection.

They should close the hotel for this construction.

Water problems

No hot water over the weekend! I understand when systems fail, but no options provided by management and no offer to compensate in any way. Not very good considerations for a hospitality business.

Nice hotel with great location

Pros: Location and a modern facility.
Cons: We were in a room with two beds. The beds are badly in need of replacement. We did not have a comfortable night of sleep.
Location: Great location with many food and entertainment options close by. Able to walk in the evening after dark.
Close to the water and within walking distance to food and beverage facilities. Walked several blocks along the water and ate at a great seafood restaurant with a bottle of wine to share with my wife. Once back at the hotel, relaxed in the lounge with a glass of wine. Hotel was quiet and appeared to be secure.

Location: It was nice to walk to breakfast at Hester's or over to the gas station for tacos then eat on the bay front benches.
Even from the room facing the left of the hotel. It was great to see the bay and T-heads from the angled patio. The Spa/part pool is also indoors which was great for winter:)

Pros: The staff, the view, the location.
Cons: The area is noisy. The rooms could stand some insulation from the noise.
Location: Right on the Bayfront, near the Marina. Walking distance from the Aquarium, Art Museum, a dozen great restaurants. Beautiful area
I happened to be there when the city was having water restrictions. The hotel was very accommodating and as helpful as possible. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. I had a small issue at check-in with the room I was assigned, but the staff resolved it quickly and without issue. The hotel is walking distance from the Art Museum and Aquarium, and right on the Bayfront by the Marina. I had a beautiful view from my balcony, which I could also see from my bed as I awoke. (attached) The view was also visible from the treadmill in the gym area, which made running almost pleasant. My only complaint is that the area (and therefore the hotel) is a bit noisy. The rooms are not insulated from street sounds.
