“A short break, overall a good time had by all. However while the overall condition of the cottage was good it could have done with a real deep clean. Bedding was obviously used and the mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. Furniture inside also left a lot to be desired from a comfort point of view. No Wi-Fi. TV basic and small. Rooms small. But on the positive this is really well located to local amenities, fully enclosed large back garden was great for the dog.……

“We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. “Loved the remote location and cleanliness. House had everything we needed. We loved the sheep in the road and the twisty drive up to the house. Beautiful view out the front window. Had some wonderful fish dinners at Tara hotel in Killybegs. On the downside the mattresses were not comfortable for any of us. They were thin in the two big rooms and in the twin room it was old style and very bouncy. ”

“Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing. ”
