“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“The reviews on this have been variable so it’s time to weigh in with my own. Bottom line - if you want a decent stay for a cost-effective price, DO consider this. If you’re looking for the Ritz, it’s probably wrong for you. This is normally student accommodation and so is way better than a hostel while not being a hotel. You get your own, modern, fairly smart room with an en suite shower room and toilet. There’s also a modern shared kitchen/TV area with oven and microwave and washing up……

“We liked how central this property was, and that the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and laundry facilities were functional and comfortable. When we arrived at the apartment we experienced flies swarming around in the hallways and inside the apartment. Not a great first impression. The building and apprtment are older, there's visible signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness in the common areas (halls and lobby was lacking). “It is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. The location couldn’t be more perfect, it gave us a reason to go on walks to get to places instead of taking public transportation or driving. It came fully stocked with supplies from coffee, tea, cleaning materials and cooking utensils to make your short or longer stays. We struggled finding the reception at first since some of the buildings looked very similar, but eventually, we were able to find our way.”

“I liked the location, the kitchenette with a washer,dryer, and dishwasher. The staff was great with communication throughout our stay. The bed in the bedroom was terrible. You could feel the spring in the mattress and it sagged in the middle. I requested a resolution and they just put a couple of duvets on top. It didn't help. The unit wad hot, so we had to open the windows. In doing so the traffic and bird noise was horrible. I only got 6 hours sleep over 2 nights. I informed the host of the……

“Location is amazing - just that the street is noisy so be prepared to hear noise all night and early in the morning. The place was clean. We had some issues and they were addressed by the property manager the same day.”

“Tucked behind the Pub with a few other rooms. No noise from the pub though. We had lots of fun and met some very nice locals in the pub. Grocery right across the street was great for breakfast and snacks.”

“The only positive is the location is excellent. And that they will allow early checking if available which is great if your coming off an overnight flight like us. The negatives: Check in process is a pain. You need an app and codes and you need to use the app to open the door instead of a simple code. But you only find this out right beforehand so you won’t know the actual address or how to get in till right when you get there basically. The staff do answer the phone and get you answers……
