The pictures online are accurate and not retouched. The kitchen was stocked better than my own. The pool area was fantastic. The pond provided hours of fishing and kayaking entertainment. The outdoor kitchen was terrific. Teens and adults all enjoyed the weekend retreat and hopefully we'll be able to enjoy the property again. One grandson said it was the best vacation of his life!! From the pictures everything looked great, but there were quite a few downfalls. No smart tvs in any room besides the main bedroom. So you're forced to watch cable, which in 2025 is not the norm. The wifi was constantly dropping signal, so for the remote work we do it was not ideal. Almost all of the beds were extremely cheap and uncomfortable, to the point you felt springs poking into you from the bed all night long. The main sitting room/sunroom (there's no actual living room) gets no wifi at all so you're forced to watch cable (with limited channels) on a 20 inch tv screen from 15 feet away. One of the bedrooms is upstairs and it's VERY hot up there in the summer with only one AC unit. The "guesthouse" does not have central AC, so it's very warm as well in the summer. The owners were very nice, the pool was nice. The grounds are amazing and I wish we had spent more time on them. But the inside of the main house was fantastic for cooking a big meal and a large family gathering to eat it. Everyone loved the place and it was easy to relax there. The driveway turn is a little hard to spot but once you know it is there we didn't have problems afterwards. There isn't really anything walking distance but there is a large grocery store just a 5 minute drive away and lots of places to eat and get stuff along the main road (routine 190) close by. We appreciated that each bedroom has its own bathroom. All the spaces were clean and well supplied.
