For an older motel, a lot has been done to update it. The flooring throughout and the bathroom fixtures had obviously been replaced, although the bathroom fan and bar fridge could use replacement. The room was very clean. The kitchenette was well stocked for our needs. This motel is located along the main highway but was surprizingly quiet. We would definitely consider stopping again.

Our room smelled clean and fresh when we checked in. You can see the owners are working hard make Skimmerhorn Inn a wonderful place to stay. It’s not perfect but that is okay. It’s reflected in the price. We needed a couple beds and a shower while travelling through. Skimmerhorn Inn delivered. Keep up the good work fellas. We may be back next time we are travelling through Creston.

The staff was incredibly accomodating but the stay was not what we were expecting. The room that we booked was not as advertised and it was not completely ready when we got there. The floors were also quite dirty. The staff was accomodating and tried to make it right by providing us with different accomodations which we appreciated.

The room was super clean and the staff very friendly. The kitchenette was well equipped with coffee pot, tea kettle, plates, cutlery with a two burner stovetop and pots. Everything in excellent working order. The room was very quiet, bath had good water pressure and lots of hot water.
