"Awesome stay! This place is great. They are a really nice, clean, and modern cottages. The details are what set it apart- beautiful bathroom and shower, great kitchen area with coffee maker, and a very comfortable bed and couch. The heating was done through a gas fireplace in the room and it was perfect to keep us warm. It was also incredibly quiet in the house and the neighborhood. We also appreciated the last minute communication with the owners. They were very responsive and attentive. Zero issues at all. We love Spearfish, especially in the fall, and this will be our new place to stay."

"This was the perfect final stop and 2 day stay on our family's week long adventure through South Dakota. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to wake up one morning with a breathtaking mountain view staring them in the face. The property itself is extremely well kept and the decor is the perfect frontier asthetic that makes you feel like you're living in a Western movie. Greg the host was awesome and responded quickly with every question I had for him. He even gave us a last minute tip on where to take our daughter for some off season horseback riding that worked out perfectly. My only regret was that we didn't get to meet our host because he was out of town at the time of our stay. Hopefully next year we can come out and stay again! Thank you, Greg for the amazing adventure. And for anyone who's read the other reviews concerning the driveway, it's not bad at all. I drive a low profile Honda Civic and I made it up just fine. Just throw it in low gear and hit the gas and don't stop until you get to the top. The view alone is worth it."
