We have traveled thru the area before and Serena is such a great place we have returned. The room is spacious, the mattresses very comfortable. The breakfast is a real stand out. Staff is so helpful and it's very very quiet. Be aware this is not a new motel, and there are signs of its age. There are a few spots on the carpet, but it's very clean and smells great! We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

Front desk staff very accommodating and friendly. Room was clean. Shower was nice and hot with a lot of pressure, which felt amazing after long day of travel.

It’s was quiet and comfortable here . Staff was friendly and helpful . Recommended a place to eat and the food was great ! There is no elevator in case you need one tho . Just a FYI . We enjoyed our stay .

Great hotel - clean and with super helpful staff that assisted us with our heavy cooler right up to our room. There is no elevator in the building, so it was much appreciated! They also switched us to a bit of a better room, which was a nice surprise as well. Breakfast was delicious and the room & bed were both very comfortable.

So this stop was a surprise. The hotel is convenient to the route home. The room was large with a sitting area. Breakfast hours were long - but we slept in and missed it anyway. The bed was so comfortable that once we laid down I think I blinked twice before falling asleep. There is no elevator but the stairs were easy with our luggage. It was quiet and not busy at all. The diner down the road, Uncle Louis, was delicious! So missing breakfast turned out ok! Would stay here again! The only weird thing is the price for the room and Expedia price didn’t match. I tried to dispute it with Expedia but they wouldn’t credit me the difference. So not sure I will go through Expedia again.

Super nice staff! Pool was iffy, no hot tub or it wasn’t working. Room was ok, towels and bath supplies were little to none..it was on the outskirts of town so food was at least 7ish minutes away

Great place to stop for an overnight on a road trip through the Black Hills. The place was clean, and the staff were helpful. Not a lot of protein available for breakfast, but a lot of choices, which was nice.
