TLDR: If you have to contact this hotel to modify a reservation, be sure to double and triple check that they modified it correctly otherwise they will charge you even if it was their mistake and tell you that their GM will call you to discuss the issue further, but GM never called.
We stayed at this hotel in April 2025 and loved it. We travel cross-country annually and decided to make this hotel our new half-way point each year. This year, unfortunately, our vehicle broke down on the way there. I called to reschedule my reservation. At first, I wanted to change it to the very next night but I wasn't confident that we'd find a rental car that fast. So, I decided to move it to the latter leg of our road trip about one week later. Instead, the employee added one day to my current reservation and cancelled the first night. I didn't realize that she entered the wrong date until it was too late. I was charged for a "no call, no show." I asked if there was any record of the correct date being entered or discussed at any point but the employee told me the general manager will call me back. I didn't receive any call.
