“Big Horse was an excellent find on Expedia. Self check in and out was so easy, guests were very quiet, and right down the hallway is the Black Maple Coffee and Sandwich shop. Reading material regarding the area was very interesting, and I visited the Emiquon Nature Preserve 8 minutes away before heading home. The Spoon River Anthology booklet also led me to exploring the town and poet Masters, circa 1915. Lots to come back for!!”

“At 3 o’clock in the afternoon morning in the room. It had dinner. Came back key without working in the room went to the front desk. He made a new key. The key worked in my bag was missing out. The room went to the front desk. We look for a key to a storage room and went in the storage room and found my bag and blown out. Getting into the room went to sleep three hours later, but Manager was counted on the door woke me up to say somebody had left their meatloaf and something else in the freezer……

“The apartment has rustic cabin vibes and was perfect for our one night stay. Our son was running the Relay for America, and his segment start was only .3 miles away. PERFECT! The place was very clean (but did have a “closed up” smell which could be remedied by opening windows for a period of time), and the host was very responsive to any messages sent. Thank you for a great stay!”
