“A small converted barn that feels like what it says on the tin. A cozy cabin surrounded by trees. There was a lovely pond on the property and a loft above the kitchen. I loved the trees surrounding the property it offered a lot of privacy. Communication with the owner was fast and effective. The instant check in was great. The only problem was that I wasn't provided with the door code by Expedia, so I had to ask the owner before I could get in. He responded quickly and we had a wonderful time.……

“Perfect unplugged weekend getaway cabin! You won’t regret booking this cabin it was clean and better than the photos. The pond and dock were so peaceful and we enjoyed sitting and watching the views. The cabin is located close to the wine trails and a lovely drive to observation trail in Shawnee National Forest.”

“The property is beautiful and very private. When you turn off 149, you drive up a tree enclosed gravel driveway. This opens up to a cornfield and pond on the right and you drive under pine trees before you see the property.The house has a wrap around porch, with parking on the side.The house is quaintly decorated with lots of antlers. The beds were comfortable, the shower had water pressure, the living area view is picture perfect, and it is peaceful. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star……

“High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.”
