“The location is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect place to unwind. It’s quiet living with easy access to amenities. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even had a goodie basket that included a bottle of wine from a local vineyard! We will certainly stay here again!”

“Clean, lovely space. Appreciated being able to stay here. It was quiet and secluded. The posting never claimed to have wifi, but I didn't check for it either, so was mildly surprised when it didn't have any (just assumed). Made the trip more in the moment, but might surprise others as well.”

“There were 5 beds total all super comfortable. Everything we needed in the kitchen plus awesome fun games for the kids age ranges from 11 to 17. We enjoyed it for our large group. Super comfortable, clean, and fun in beautiful wooded surroundings. I would book again soon.”

“You will not find a clehaner more beautiful place to stay. This property is located near Makanda and near the wine trails in Southern Illinois. Our only issue was that the description listed DirectTV and there was none- however, we were not there to watch TV. The owner explained that he forgot to take that off of the listing.”

“We enjoyed our stay here and will put it on our list to stay again in the future. We had everything we needed. Communication was great the entire time. The water in the sinks for some reason was hotter than the shower water even when turned to full hot, so we stayed a little chilly in the shower the first night there. I asked Ginger the following morning if the water heater could be turned up and they took care of it right away. We had warm showers when we returned that night which was sooo……

“High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.”
