“It was a nice cabin. But the fire pit was actually a gas fire table that we couldn’t get to work (no response from the host when I sent a text). Also we couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up above 94, I didn’t bother to text again. There are plenty of cabins in the area so we’ll find something else next time.”

“I ended up having to pay a two night stay that I didn't even use because when I canceled with the owner in July for an August date, he didn't inform me that I needed to also call and cancel with the platform until the day of my arrival, and wouldn't accept any responsibility. It's advertised for $125 per night but by the time you're finished with fees and taxes - it's really $250 per night.”

“My family and I really liked "Our Neck of the Woods" cottage. We were returning home from a vacation in Michigan to St Louis and thought I'd be fun to go into Casey, IL to see all the world's biggest attractions before closing the book on vacation 2026. This property is quiet and welcoming. We had dinner at Richard's Farm Restaurant and it was excellent. We also saw a deer 10 yards from the cottage out back and a muskrat in the pdnd below along with other bird wildlife. Thank you for sharing……

“Very clean.Scent Generating Plugin made me sick, and once we found it and tossed it out, The rest of the stay was pleasant.The bed was very comfortable, as was the roomy furniture.Kitchen was highly functional and well equipped.I would definitely stay here again if the Plugin Scent generators were removed. ”

“The cabin was great for our family for graduation weekend! It was clean spacious and perfect for getting together after our events. The hot tub was a bonus and we did use it both evenings of our stay! It was close to some wineries and we were able to do some of that as well. Would come back and stay here again.”
