Five (5) Star Hotel

Pros: Luxurious, very good location, top level staff.
The hotel was exactly as presented in terms of quality and guest ratings as a top level 5 star hotel. Stayed 3 nights for an anniversary trip to Machu Pichu and would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for this level of hotel property.

Great place. Restaurant was really over priced. I was charged around 50 USD for buffet breakfast that wasn't all that good. The eggs were watered down and always looked soggy. I did not eat any eggs. I also ordered a hamburger that did not taste like regular meat. I did order beef tenderloin that was good. It came with risotto. I was also charged 100 soles, 30 USD for a spa day pass that is not really a day pass. It is only good for one visit. I Thought it was expensive, should have been half price. That's what I am used to paying in the U.S. Food was really hit and miss for me in Cusco. Use Trip Advisor for restaurants, do not make the same mistake I made!!!! Also do not go to restaurant Limo which was recommended by hotel. It sucked and was overpriced compared to other restaurants. My biggest gripe about this trip was food. It's really hard to find good food in cusco. It's not the hotels fault!! The hotel is beautiful but can use some more lighting. Rooms were nice but did not have enough space for clothes. Closets were small and no cabinets. Not enough room for 2 people's clothes. My clothes remained in my suitcase. It was a pain. Aside from that the place was great and I looked forward to sleeping there. Not a bad review but a few minor things need to be worked on.

Such a beautiful hotel! Every corner has a piece of art and a piece of the 500 year old history. The hotel employees were super nice and helpful. They even offered me an upgrade due to my status with Expedia without me even asking 😃 Their buffet was out of this world. Absolutely a Five Star Luxury Hotel. Would definitely recommend it !!!

Pros: Nice atmosphere, great staff, good location, comfortable room.
Location: Convenient for the airport, close to the centre of town, good restaurants nearby. The Inca site Saqsaywaman not too far away.
I stayed here on my way to Machu Picchu and again on my way back to Lima. The reception staff were pleasant, courteous and professional. The concierge helped me locate a shop, in Cusco, selling football (soccer) shirts. The luggage that I left for storage while I was at Machu Picchu was already waiting for me in my room when I returned.

I had a most terrible room I ever had in my whole life. The design of the hotel is great and it looks like a pretty candy, however, not everything which looks good is good indeed. The temperature in my room was super hot. When I complained they have brought a fan, which did nothing to cool the air. I had to open up the windows at nights and the street was really noisy even at 3 am in the morning. Thus, I have slept very little. When I was given a bill I was given only a total for all my meals and laundries, which I find really strange as I had to spend at least twenty minutes trying to understand what is going on. This is a member of Starwood? It should not be.

Traditionally Cusco has a yearly average temperature between 4°C to 20°C so in the past it was never needed a cooling system in this area. Recently with the climate change we are having few waves during the year, when temperature is warmer. Therefore we are taking steps to the air conditioner system implemented lasts by mid 2016. Honeymoon city luxury

We stayed here two nights as part of our honeymoon. The hotel was fantastic, offering us a free upgrade and lots of treats including champagne in the room. Excellent service, elegantly decorated rooms and lobby. 100% recommended
