I had to leave did not stay . After a long day on the road I arrived and booked in . The room needed a complete overhaul . I’m in the flooring trade and the carpets were a cheap domestic quality not suitable for the insulation . They were worn and dirty . I put the shower on and the shower tray filled up with water and flooded the bathroom . I’m sure that water then would have gone through the ceiling . I asked the young girl behind the bar to be moved to another room but no double rooms were available . There was no manager for me to speak to . Also the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday which I was not aware of . All in all it was a bad experience after a long day on the road . So unfortunately I had to pack up and leave . She assured me that I wouldn’t be charged but it’s still showing up on my bank account . For a business traveller this is a definite no no . Sorry for this review but I’m extremely disappointed .

The room was very nicely decorated, spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was perfect. Their restaurant downstairs was absolutely delicious, a bit pricey, but worth every penny, steak being the best. We had a great meal and will def be back if we come back.

Lovely one night stay to attend a gig at the Acapela Studio in nearby Pentyrch. Our room was very comfortable and clean with milk and water provided in the fridge, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. The food for both the evening meal and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This together with super-friendly and helpful staff made our short break most enjoyable. We would definitely stay again!!

We loved our stay - property was clean and in good condition, and walkable to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again. Pro tip - there’s a coffee shop run out of a church about a block away. Hours are atypical, but great coffee and the nicest people on planet earth!!!
