"The only thing I would like to mention is that we booked a room with a kitchen, but it didn’t have an electric pot, a rice cooker, or a pressure cooker. So, since my son eats beans, we were never able to prepare food for him. It’s just common sense that if a room has a kitchen, it should come with all types of pots."

"The villa was perfect for our family of 4 including our teenage daughter and infant son. We were walking distance to great restaurants and markets to pick up food to cook at home. There was a fully equipped kitchen. The property manager was super accommodating with any requests."

"Alicia’s Inn is located at a very convenient location. Easy access to everything. Stores, shops, restaurants are all available in walking distance. Every one is friendly and welcoming and always asking if they can do anything for you. Room are nice and clean with great air conditioning which is a must. "Overall great stay Issues reported were addressed immediately. Property manage (Chris), deserves 6 stars. House is spacious including enormous kitchen. Pool is great. View is to die for. Cons: location. Property is located on the southern East coast so be prepared for a 20-40 min ride to any location outside that immediate vicinity. There is a great boardwalk with plenty of shops and Resturant a short 5-10 drive. Cons: beach…heaps of sea moss clutter the beach making it unusable for anything other than a good sound and visual…They are working to get this issue resolved but until then don’t not factor this into your itinerary. I would stay there again."

The location was perfect, with supermarkets and shopping centers nearby, and just a 12-minute walk to the town center. Owner claims no responsibility for this, as it’s owned by the state. Heads up would be nice. Recommend 4 WD vehicle. Owners friend stayed in the unit underneath us and used the neighboring apt. complex to park his car. New stove not properly installed. Max, the handyman discovered a crimped plastic gas line. New dishwasher never worked properly. May have something to do with water pressure which fluctuates 50-70% if someone else in the villa using it - or even the unit below us using their DW or shower.Drainage poor throughout the unit - Pipes gurgled day and night indicating poorly vented and clogged P valves (or U-traps).Day 1, Max indicated a small drip under kitchen sink, 8-10 days later reported terrible odor coming from this area. Days later hot water line blew open, spewing hot water all over the kitchen. Max fixed the next day. No reading lamps in the bedrooms.Ugly:When privately told of our experience and concerns, Owner threatened to contact VRBO and falsely accuse us of unfounded charges. What a shame.This property is a Works in Progress"

I received a warm welcome and they showed me to my room. Next time I come back to the island, I will try to get a room here. "

Located at the end of a dead end road therefore quiet. Ocean view in one room and mountain view in the other. All the kitchen essentials. A few stairs getting up the porch and into the suite. Not wheelchair accessible. Located near Dock Maarten. "
