"The property was very clean and in an excellent location. The staff were absolutely wonderful. So sweet and courteous and caring. The pool was wonderful with beautiful views. The breakfast spread was mind blowing! Location was great, gym was very ample, and the spa was very relaxing. Would recommend going here as opposed to the street spas, as the practitioners really know what they are doing and it feels very high end and so clean. Worth every cent! I would definitely return to this hotel."

"Beautiful property. Kind & helpful staff.
I had an issue in our room. Found over a dozen bugs around both beds on our first night. They looked like fat maggots but I’m pretty sure they were actually maggots. Very unsettling. Shared video to front desk. Housekeeping came up to sweep them out the door. But nothing more. Housekeeping handed us bug spray and left. Unacceptable. After finding a few more crawling around the floor an hour later the front desk moved us to another room. Unfortunately the room was a bit of a downgrade from what I reserved. Nothing else was done. Management had not even apologized. The next day I contacted Expedia so I could be refunded the difference in room costs since I had been downgraded. Expedia called the hotel and Koi refused to refund the mere $14 dollar difference. Trust me I’m desperate for $14 it was more about the principle of fairness. Hours later I was called by someone in management and offered a better room & sent a fruit platter for our last night. I did get an apology. Sadly shuffling btwn several rooms we left behind 2 favorite tshirts & phone plug. Traveled across countries to relax only to go through this was disheartening.
I do not believe this is a common experience here but it still happened."
