the office was quite cluttered wiry folders(?) piled high everywhere but it was o.k. I was traveling alone, on my way home from Kansas to California. I was exhausted so it would do. The male clerk was very nice. Walked me to my room and showed me where everything was. The room was very clean as was the bed linens. I was very pleased with the room and will stay there again if I am in the area.

More than ideal for a non picky weary traveler!

There were several “iffy” looking men chilling outside that made me a bit weary (I’m a petite 5’ woman traveling on my own) other than that and the fact that I didn’t get shampoo, I had a very calm and pleasant stay. The room was quite clean, spacious, everything worked perfectly, and I got a good night sleep to continue my trip. Owners were kind to me and even greeted me in the morning while packing up.

Nice room, remoldeling...

The room was very nice and clean. They are remodeling the motel and work equipment is around but neatly stored. The owner eas very adamant about not smoking in the room which was fine with me. When he asked if I had a pet, he asked "Are you sure?" which irritated me as if I was lying. In his defense, he said he had been lied to about that in the past. Overall, the stay was good for the price!

It was ok

This hotel was ok. I wouldnt recomend unless it was cheaper. Office was a mess, couldnt find my reservation. They were "remodeling", but i think thar was an excuse for the mess. Too small and restroom was not finished. Just to spend the night it is ok, just no more than that. Maybe after the remodel it would be beter.

good deal if passing through

This is an older motel that is being updated, so it's a work in progress. Our room was very large and clean, well worth the price we paid. Would stay here again if in the area.

Excelent service. The owner came to the room to show me how to use the TV controller, rather than explaining over the phone. Super comfortable. The were remodeling when we stayed, but don't let looks deceive.

When we drove up we were very concerned about the way the place looked. It was run down and had all kinds of stuff "stored" on the covered area by the rooms. I know they say they are remodeling. The office was a disaster and couldn't find our paper work at first. Room had a pile of dirt behind door - pile. Mice woke us up crawling on our luggage. Bathroom was remodeled and looked fairly clean. We left very early the next morning - couldn't wait to get out of there. I know the price indicates there are no frills but I thought it would be cleaner. Very old and "used" looking inside

Good Value for Your Money

The XIT is fine if you need a comfortable room and good night's sleep. The check-in process is slow but room 42 was clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom has been remodeled.

The couple that manages this place are always friendly and welcoming even when I arrive at 11:30 at night. My room was clean and comfortable and had a refrigerator with a freezer compartment that was actually cold enough to refreeze my blue ice. I like knowing this place is here, and that I will be able to get a restful night's sleep.

Friendly and clean

It may not look the greatest, from the outside, but it's currently being remodeled. This is my 3rd stay here and the rooms are always comfortable and very clean. The shower had been upgraded and that was nice. The couple at the front desk, are friendly and helpful.

Nothing unique, very old hotel, no ice machine, very small bathroom, bed was not comfortable, construction going on, and it was about 200 feet from the train station, with the trains sounding their horns.

Blast from the past.

Old motel from the 1950s. Very little change since its original Construction. No bathroom ventilation. TV remote control did not work properly.

Horribly maintained, old, dirty, and falling apart. Flies roaming free in the room. Got charged $40 extra for additional guest where none was mentioned during the booking. Stay as far away as possible.

This is the most disgusting hotel i have reef seen and i reffused to stay there. Filthy bathromm with a white residue all over the wall. No toilet paper towels tossed on rack beds not made and no TV

Mit første ophold på et Amerikansk Motel, pga forsikkelse af fly kom vi frem meget sent, vi blev da trosakt modtaget meget pænt midt om natten Værelset var meget kolde men efter et stykke tid fik airconen varmet rummet op selvom der var gået et leje i blæseren så den skreg når den kørte Toget kører nærved og krydser vejen flere gange om natte med tuden til følge Der er ikke morgen mad, og vi fandt ikke noget i byen da vi ikke er til friturestegt dounots Nok ok af et slidt motel til en enkelt overnatning
