The $40 valet did not have an umbrella or offer one in the pouring rain. Got soaked getting our own bags out of the car. There is mold in the grout of the bathroom and the shower door handle is falling off. There is one office chair to sit on so one of us has to sit on the bed if we just want to relax and watch TV in the room. There are two giant useless lamps where a couch could be placed. The room has the tiniest closet I've ever seen. This was the worst $300 hotel room I've ever stayed in. The restaurant was very nice. The food was excellent and the staff provided excellent service. Highly recommend the pork chop. The basement speakeasy was just fine and the service was very slow.

Check in was quick and easy. The front desk worker was welcoming and friendly. The place was nice and our room seemed to be fairly newly painted. Our toilet paper dispenser was missing the metal tube to put the toilet paper roll on. We were going to let the front desk know as we left, but no one was there. Not a big deal, but it should be fixed. Breakfast was fine. Quite a few choices, but no hot eggs over the weekend we were there. Disappointing, but there were several other choices. No real complaints and we would definitely stay there again.

Hands down the best hotel we stay in all year.
