“Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.”

“I can’t say enough positives about this property! We stayed in the La Chambre de Marie Janelle. The room had everything you could need: robes, slippers, hairdryer, tea kettle, great AC, soap, even wash clothes. Our room was beautiful and very quiet. Getting to the property can be challenging but well worth the effort. I will say this property is NOT for those with any kind of mobility issues. There is no elevator and our room was on third floor. “J’ai eu le plaisir de résister avec mon fils dans cette chambre d’hôte.
Nous avons été bien reçu.
La chambre est plutôt spacieuse, 1 lit double avec 1 lit simple. C’était confortable.
L’hôte est vraiment sympathique, passionnée et passionnante. Nous avons eu d’agréables échanges.
Je lui souhaite plein de réussite pour ses beaux projets d’accueil avec sa yourte.

“Beautiful place - very quiet with excellent host and wonderful breakfast. As there were only 4 rooms we shared breakfast with the other quests which added to the experience. We are English & the the other guests were from Australia, Holland & USA so we had plenty to talk about at the breakfast table. Our bedroom was enormous and beautifully furnished.Will definitely stay here again if we are in the Loire Valley.”
