Sleeper couch was not very comfortable with management was kind enough to get us a pad top for it. They had a great little porch that I would have used if I had more time. It was okay for what we needed it to be. It had a kitchenette which was nice again we weren't there for very long and it was just my mother and I but if you plan to be there and just want to barbecue and have a fridge and that kind of thing it would be great if they have a real coffee maker. Biggest downside I saw that this hotel is of course when they take pictures they don't take a picture of the Highway that is right in front of your room. It is far from beachfront. Is more like next to the beach in front of a highway. And you have to climb over this big pedestrian bridge to get to the long stretch of beach which I'm sure is great but we didn't really have much of any views that we enjoyed. And we also didn't have any time to use the pool would seem to be in good repair and everything. For the money I think it was a good deal and we're pleased. We were there just to go to Ohana Festival and the staff made it as comfortable as it could possibly be given the circumstances. One thing I found very strange is that they had cut the bathtub down the middle to turn it into a shower. Never seen that before but I could see the work that made it happen great I don't know if that was the same water or people fell in the tub or what but I thought that was weird. There was even a private, roofed patio in the back. The best thing is that it was a short (5 minute) walk to the beach. The second best thing is that I was there for 2 nights & never moved my car. I also enjoyed the hot tub—& it’s long, open hours. The staff was friendly & helpful. The only negative is that I was unable to hear the ocean from my room. We were told this place is a time-share when we checked in. We needed to change rooms and that was good. The first night we had a front ocean room and the second night we had a back hillside view. We liked the back room the best. The back bathroom did have a very short toilet. I’m 5’ 8”. We liked that there were bbq’s on the patio of both rooms, they have them on every patio. Because this place is a time share everything you need is in the room. Silverware, plates, glasses, bbq utensils, pans, casserole, strainer, wine opener, extra sheets and towels already in the room. Very nice place.
