The walls were dirty, looked like water stains. The couch had stains, the side tables weren’t completely cleaned, smelt like smoke and the 2nd lock on the door was broke. The bed and bathroom were fine, good enough for a one night stay.

The first room was clean & comfortable- the room the second night smelled like a toilet (rm 211) we spoke to management who said there was no similar room available and we should take up complaint with Expedia.

The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the room appeared to be neat and clean. The bathroom had broken floor tile, broken towel bar with parts left in the walls. The shower was a patchwork nightmare and dirty tissues left in the tissue dispenser of the sink. I would never bathe in there.

I needed to get a room near my job at FedEx because we’re going to be working late on Christmas Eve and I was too tired to drive home knowing with bad weather and late planes I wanted to get some rest rather than a long drive home.

It was what could be expected from a 2 star motel. but there were no cups for the coffee maker. So Icalled the front desk. Either the phone was out of order or he pretended not to hear me. Either is plausible. So I want to the front desk and he handed me some old school unwrapped styrofoam cups. Those turned out to be the same cups they had out for breakfast next AM. The first one I took I threw away because it had coffee stains in it. I suspect these cups were washed and re-used if not just rinsed. There were lids and sleeves out for takeaway coffee but they were form normal sized paper cups, not those nasty little styrofoam ones. Coffee makes permanent stains in styrofoam thats why I hate it. Also, I don't believe their excuse for no TV signal. He said the "line" was down in the area. Except its not a cable system. Its satellite dish. If an entire satellite was down it would have made news.

It was over priced and a dump, breakfast was a joke and disgusting, yogurt not refrigerated, coffee awful, decor was inappropriate!

The hotel is located near a major road but it is not noisy Not alot places that I consider walkable but then again Ridgefield is a small town. The hotel room is very good - nothing to complain about. The Front Desk was helpful
