“A lovely guest house with an amazing pool, a very quiet peaceful place to relax in. A great place to see some of the wild life close up - a daily visit from a troop of monkeys, twice daily visits from the kingfisher.... Lovely. Huge breakfasts! Tuc tuc required to get anywhere. It will be excellent when the guest house is completely finished - all those little finishing off things. A lovely stay. ”

“Loved this little bit of paradise. The pool and view is the highlight, very quiet and tranquil, a great place to relax and unwind. Great food, fresh and very reasonable. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. Only negative is that there is no mini-bar so no easy to keep you water and drinks called, although you can always get ice from the bar. Suits couples more……

The most stunning setting, overlooking the sea and the fairly private beach (there are only a handful of hotels that have access to this beach, so there are no local sellers or other tourists). “I had a perfect stay at Royal Beach Hikkaduwa. Room was spacious. Room was very clean including nice and fresh linen. They always asked me if I need any help and was really helpful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had lunch and dinner at there Lumina Restaurant and Bar. Food and cocktails were amazing. Hotel is just in front of the beach and honestly it looks like a paradise. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels to Hikkaduwa. I will definitely come back next year……
