“The place is indeed spacious and we had a great time mucking about in the river. There is no air conditioner, but it wasn't too bad since it cooled at night and we were out and about most days. It's conveniently located across a general store and next to a restaurant/bar and just a five minute ride to Pinecrest Lake.It is a little bit dated, but it does have most of what you need and you just can't beat the location.”

There was also an abundance of clean, cozy blankets to use and various items to make our pup feel welcome too. “Amazing cabin really nice place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors near bye. Really clean place with all you need in a home.”

“So comfortable and so easy to get to. Kitchen is great, stocked with basic pots, pans, baking sheets and more appliances. We cooked multiple home meals and baked brownies. Its walking distance to the store and restaurant. The owners are very proactive and responsive. ”

“We stayed for a long weekend at this cabin and it more than met our expectations. The location, near Long Barn, was very useful for access to local skiing, and it wasn't difficult to get in or out of (just be aware that the driveway is steep and relatively short in case you have more than one vehicle). It's also close to Mia's, our favorite restaurant in the area.The interior of the cabin is well-furnished and very comfortable. We were actually surprised at how warm it stayed in winter, and……

“We stayed at the Granite Cabin for a Father’s Day family get together. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Although close to the highway, traffic noise was limited during the day and quiet at night. Strawberry is a nice corner of the Sierra Nevada. Plan on cooking your meals early in the week as local restaurants are closed. We likely will stay at the cabin again. ”

“Sugar Bear cabin was a great place to stay for nearby activities. We enjoyed the amenities the cabin offered, especially in regards to cooking and kitchen. A really great surprise was the stocked up game room, and various VHS tapes, along with a VCR. My partner and I watched Face Off, something we would not have done otherwise, and an amazing blast from the past. The game room was such a nice touch, as well.
