"My husband + teen + 2 tweens enjoyed our stay at this cabin for family bonding during their winter break. We did not expect all the boardgames, streaming tv options & thorough kitchen amenities. There was even fresh marshmallows to add to our cocoa. I appreciated that we didn’t have to run out to get more trash bags or dishwashing soap (the basics one doesn’t pack but needs). "The condo is located in the Bear Valley village, 2 miles away from the ski park. The condo is small but cozy. The bedrooms are upstairs and the beds comfortable. Kitchen is tiny but has a fridge, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The heaters worked well though there is no central thermostat. There are 2 short flight of stairs to get to the unit. Narrow stairs connecting upstairs and downstairs. The living room/dining room area is dated. Very quiet. We stayed there during a winter storm....

"We did have some trouble finding the place. First we went to the same number in Creekside, then we didn't know which door to go through to find the entrance. There are no numbers or arrows on the building for the first floor condos. But once inside it was very cozy. The kids were excited to stay in the bunk beds next to the kitchen and have an easy to start fire they could sit by. They loved access to streaming on the TV because we don't have that at home. "My family and I stayed at this pinecrest retreat during our snow trip. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The stairs were interesting to navigate with a 2 year old toddler and two older grandparents, but it was doable. Heating consists of wall units and a fireplace. It was walking distance to Leland snowplay. No wifi was refreshing as it allowed us to unplug and spend quality time together. There were plenty of movies available for us to watch.
