“Excellent staff - good clean rooms and great good”

“Wonderful, relaxing stay with extra interest in learning about the growing and processing of tea. Delicious food, freshly prepared onsite. Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bed comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the visit to the tea factory and walk around the estate. Make sure you book the airport transfer - price is reasonable and difficult to find for people who don't know. ”

“Room too cold. Cant be adequately heated. Staff refused to give 2nd key to keep heater on . Cockroaches in dining area/table. Staff ignored when cockroaches were pointed out. ”

“There was nothing there to like. Everything was terrible & not in a livable condition. No working bathroom, no weather controlled rooms, very old & dirty towels. Please remove this property from your list. No one should live in such horrible conditions after paying so much. I should get some refund back if not the entire amount. Thanks 🙏”

Only problem I faced while checking out that they could not find my payment which already made during booking the room on hotels.com.There must have some communication gap between hotel and hotel.com causing unnecessary delay in checking out.”

“I stayed 2 delightful nights at the Ivanhoe. Your managers couldnt have been more helpful and thoughtful. The old part of the hotel is far nicer than the new annex. I stayed in a cosy room ( Col Sir Younghusband )with a fireplace, surrounded by thoughts on who had graced these rooms in the past. A place with a lot of character and lovely staff. “The hotel is located quite far from the main areas of interests. The quality of food served is low. The restaurant staff need to trained to understand customer needs. There is considerable delay in serving the a la carte menu.”

“The rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. They need to make the hotel more friendly for the people with disabilities. They need to put side rails up and make the hotel more wheel chair accessible. Furniture is old, basically to maintain the colonial heritage, but still the furniture could polished to look new. Otherwise no complaints. They just need to make it more friendly for the DISABLED since it’s on the top of a hill.”
