*ON THE WATER. * 4.3 miles to CUYUNA BIKE TRAILS. * 2.2 miles to (2) different golf courses. PENINSULA PRIVACY. Close to HEARTLAND HOCKEY CAMP. Private apple orchard. Loons nesting on property. Close to restaurants, shops, but yet private and peaceful. GREAT swimming lake with raft and water toys. Cozy one bedroom boathouse on Hamlet Lake. Inside, a queen bed, bathroom/shower, fireplace, and air conditioning. Free Kayaks available for use on Hamlet Lake. Free wood for bonfires. 25 private acres abutting a creek on one side, hard sand bottom swimming lake on the other side.

The boathouse was built in 1946, and is right on the edge of shore. My house is not too far away, but we are not often home so you’ll have good privacy. Welcome!!!!

RoKu TV if you have a hotspot but WiFi is expected in by 6/1/23. Most guests come to a retreat like setting to relax, and I have available many recreational amenities free to use and explore ( and they do!). 26 acres of private acres, boathouse is directly on the lake, which is one of the cleanest in Crow Wing County. Plus we’re near the Cuyuna bike trails Deerwood access. My boathouse is from 1946, and grandfathered in, so some changes are not allowed, such as a bathtub or change in dimensions. There is a shower, standard sized toilet, sink vanity that was part of the boathouse before building restrictions changed a number of years ago. A mini-fridge does not have a freezer, but I have many smaller appliances such as burner/oven/microwave/fry pan/ and other amenities. I have a freezer in the garage guests can use if requested ahead of time. You may use my little gas grill or a charcoal grill. I live on a peninsula, and one side is sugar sand swim area. Wild meadow flowers and an undeveloped shoreline. The peninsula has wildflowers and is completely undeveloped, and a narrow path on the narrow peninsula. My house is on the property, but you will have peace and privacy because I’m seldom home or if I am, I’m usually inside reading a book. Come enjoy quiet lake living! Coming in 2024 WIFI.

Didn't want to leave, can't wait to return again!
This was my second time staying here. The property offers a great escape from, well, everything. It is well located just 10 minutes from downtown Crosby full of some great spots! I really enjoy the cozy, quiet feel of the Boathouse. This was my second trip, both of which were in the colder months. It offers great views of the lake, and outstanding sunsets. Everything is comfortable and well maintained. I look forward to trying this out in warmer months.

This cabin is exactly what my wife and I wanted. The cabin is directly on the lakefront and the views were immaculate. waking up every morning to the sight of a calm lake never got old. The cabin was neat and tidy with all the amenities we could ask for, the host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. This place deserves all the 5 star praise and more. We will DEFINITELY be back

Liked the finishes. Had what I would look for in a cabin - drip coffee maker, kitchen supplies. We had wine at the kitchen island, watched a movie in reclining seats, slept in the queen bed. Swung on the swing with a small fire. Went to nearby Crosy for hike. Left refreshed and happy. Thanks!

The views from the boathouse are amazing. It was very peaceful. The owners home is just across the driveway but the boathouse has 3 windowed walls facing the lake, not the driveway. We used the canoe and had a bonfire, and enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful time spent here. The views were amazing. We enjoyed the loons and the eagles flying overhead. It was quiet and peaceful and the host was very responsive. We also appreciated being able to borrow kayaks and enjoyed the swimming as well. We hope to come again next summer!

Great Stay at the Boathouse!
Great week on the lake! Provided canoe and kayaks got plenty of use. Firepit a lot of fun when the weather permitted. Boathouse cozy for 2 but perfectly fine and relaxing with great view of lake and its wildlife. No problems at all and the owner is super quick to respond to communications. Awesome spot and glad we stayed here!

This was my first time staying at the boathouse in the summer and it was wonderful! The boathouse is very quaint and I love all of the windows. I made a campfire one night, sat on the dock with my coffee and got to see some wildlife upclose. It was a much needed peaceful weekend. I look forward to going back.

Solo Retreat to Relax and Recharge
It was perfect! The place was even better than the pictures. I could lie in bed and watch the stars, or the deer right outside my window (on the lake), even eagles, who the host told me were mating. Host was outstanding! Really cared about my enjoyment and provided those touches that makes things a little more special.
