We didn’t realize the entrance for upstairs was outside, but it was fine with our older kids. We did like there was a “trap door”, so we could conveniently communicate between upstairs and downstairs. "

"Quaint and unique hotel on the outskirts of town led to a mostly quiet stay. Certainly not a usual choice for a hotel but the campy cheekiness of the property certainly adds to the experience. It's what life is all about. The playground is a huge plus for families with kids, or kids at heart. I'm 53 and had lots of fun on the inflatable and swings. The Blacksmith building (where we stayed) is large enough for 6 and has a stocked kitchenette. I do wish there were lamps though. It's also nice to be able to park right in front of your room. I would 1000% recommend this place again and again. "
