"I have stayed at many hotels in Daytona area for short staycations. This is the first one that I’ve been in that an ocean view room did not have a balcony or an opening window and that’s my reasoning for not giving it a great rating. If I’m paying the money to stay at a place that has an oceanfront view I want to be able to open up my sliding glass door or window to hear the ocean I don’t wanna just see it. So if you book the place, make sure it’s got a balcony if that’s what you’re into. It set a bad tone for my son and I’s birthday trip together. My wife stayed there for a conference about two months ago and raved about it, but of course she had a room with the balcony I did not know I needed to request that."

"This hotel is our Go-to every year, its clean, feels like a luxury hotel, the lobby and rooms are modern, super clean, large and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and the pool is clean plus complimentary towels. Stay here if you’re going to Rockville, its 41 minutes from the venue and you get a real shower and AC when you’re back from the festival!"
