Surroundings, character/ambiance, staff, and especially the breakfasts were excellent! We also enjoyed the electric fireplace in our room. There were some oddities in the room also, but it isn't meant to be a standard hotel. The only negative for us was the need for the shower liner to be replaced - it was pretty gross/moldy.

Loved everything. Incredible place. Absolutely gorgeous! Felt just like a Tuscan mansion! The ONLY thing was we didn’t know it was RIGHT on the highway. If you don’t mind a little traffic murmur, rent it!!! You’ll love it!

Old and dark decor but nice view. Right along highway so some traffic noise. Breakfast options were minimal but well prepared. We went to a Red Rocks concert and it was a very convenient location for that.

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great every morning, and the main part of the home and common areas were awesome. Word of caution if you book "Shorty's" room as it is smaller than any hotel room I ha e ever visited. There were lots of small minor details overlooked in this room, but friends that were in another room had zero complaints. If you are over 6' tall then this room is not for you. Overall a good experience, and again I cannot say enough about how nice the two staff members were.

We stayed in the red room. Be prepared for stairs! Staff were very friendly, charming rooms, bathtub was lava hot no matter which way you turned the handle. Maintenance never came to our room to check it out. Fan in room didn't work -staff brought us two fans. Stayed in room 5 days and no one came to clean rooms/bring extra towels etc. Only 1 day did we have the do not disturb sign up. When staff came to bring us the fans we requested extra towels and they brought us water bottles. Breakfast was delicious Everytime we went. Only goes from 8:30-9:30. Some days they served you other days was a buffet style. The views were amazing and staff really were kind.

We basically had this entire place to ourselves for two days, and felt like royalty at breakfast! The entire staff was great. The only "complaints" I had were that our room was a little dusty, and we had a leaky sink faucet that leaked all over the counter. Regardless, I would stay here over and over again! We stayed here for 2 Red Rocks shows, and the location was great. The small town that's closeby was also very cute and clean - easy access for groceries, dinner, drinks, etc. Loved our stay!

We loved the place except that it’s right on the highway so it’s noisy when sitting outside on the deck. I was expecting a more tranquil experience. But, It’s convenient to get to and the shuttle to Red Rocks amphitheater was very helpful and we were glad we used it. The staff were helpful and quick to respond to any concerns. We absolutely loved the made to order breakfasts and our cozy room.

This property was lovely from the outside, and the house manager was very nice and helpful. The interior was very dated, and not super comfortable or functional. It was quite expensive, all of these things considered. It could be nice if you’re looking for a very rustic experience and don’t care much about location or luxury. It was not at all what we expected.
