The majority of Denver flights land at Denver Intl. Airport (DEN). This airport, commonly referred to as DIA, is the largest airport in the United States and the second largest in the world. In addition, DIA is home to the longest public use runway in the country, and it is the 11th busiest airport in the world when ranked by passenger traffic. Airlines that have a major presence at DIA include Frontier Airlines, Great Lakes Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines. DIA is a rather unique looking airport; it's covered by a white Teflon-coated fiberglass roof that resembles the Rocky Mountains in an abstract sort of way. Other airports that service the Denver area include Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Centennial Airport and Front Range Airport.

There's never a bad time to book your tickets to Denver. Many people are under the impression that Denver is a cold and snowy place year-round; they would be mistaken. The weather is generally mild and pleasant in Denver throughout the entire year, even during the middle of the winter. Sure, there might be blizzards once in a while, but once it stops snowing, the snow melts away very quickly thanks to the ever present sunshine. Be sure to book Denver airfare during June through August in order to experience some of the most pleasant weather in the entire country; due to its high altitude, there is little to no humidity during the summer.
Each January, the city of Denver celebrates the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Known as the Marade, a combination of the words “march” and “parade”, this event includes powerful speakers, live music, and multicultural performances. Accredited as one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the U.S., the event draws in thousands of people and passes through City Park, Civic Center Park, and the Colorado Capital State Capitol Building. It’s sad that on a 4 hour flight the only free amenity is a small cup of water and only if you ask for it.
Also booked a car with Expedia (Alamo). Went to pick up car and Alamo had NO cars! Gave us a 15 passenger van...only option at 1am Thursday😡Now must drive back to airport (1.5 hours) to check if they have a car tomorrow.
The only thing is our connecting flight was 40minutes late due to the cleaning crew not showing up, but w still landed in Denver on time!
Stuff was not that hatful, whe I asked for pen/pencil For little kid, they sayed they do not have one
We were pleased that we made it to our connecting flight.
Overall everything was good but the Aircraft is very small
Given the horrible publicity United had a couple years ago, I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised - all employees were patient and accommodating, and the passengers seemed in a good mood, even when deplaning on scorching hot Denver was slow. .
I would fly Frontier more often if you didn't charge for checked baggage! I would apply for your credit card to earn miles as well if you didn't charge for checked baggage!
Staff was friendly. Other than that ,there wasn’ much need
