It felt remote, even though it's right in Denver. Looking out on the lake was so relaxing. We kayaked, paddle boarded, swam, soaked in the hot tub, and enjoyed the time away. The beach setting was very enjoyable. It was nice having a full kitchen to feed the kids. The VRBO is in a private gated community on a narrow street. The parking spot available was short, so we were glad we had our minivan. It would be tight to fit a big truck, passenger van, or SUV. It is the lower floor of a two story home, but it felt very private and has a completely separate entrance. We never had any run ins or interactions with the folks upstairs. They spent the whole day outdoors, swimming in the lake, paddle boarding, playing in the sand, and relaxing in the hot tub. They didn't even touch their electronic devices!
