“Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! Thanks, Spacibo!”

“Location is fantastic - the cost which was over 2.6k for 6 days for COP was shocking. Downstairs smelt of smoke, window was zip wired, noise on the corridors, shower door didn’t shut and shower was mildly and dirty, towels were cheap and in need of quality replacement. Had tried calling the hotel on arrival and didn’t pick up - beds were comfy though and it was easy to walk to the old town. With the sum if cash per person please renovate and invest - this place has so much potential… such a……

“Everything was perfect”

“Nothing as described on your website . Not a deluxe room No microwave or tea coffee maker as advertised The accommodation was actually closed for refurbishment and we were the only people in the building . No bath as advertised. No nice view of the city. TV worked by internet so it buffered all the time until it went off about 9 pm and needed a code to use it which tbe one man there did not know . Only managed to stay one night despite booking for three. Airport Shuttle did not exist……

“Fawlty Towers is centrally located within easy walking distance of the downtown pedestrian streets and waterfront promenade, but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The surrounding 2 blocks are rather dingy and full of dive bars. The hotel and room are clean. There was air conditioning (a big plus in Baku's heat). The free breakfast is very generous. The staff is nice and very helpful (but occasionally they have someone working who only speaks Azerbaijani and not English or Russian).……
