"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful providing me with tourist advice, map, pictures of sites to help me communicate with non-english speaking drivers. One of them even volunteered to take me around Old Dhaka on his day off. Room is nice, spacious, modern. Breakfast quite complete but better for Asian breakfast. . . don't expect western style omellettes, etc.
Problem with this hotel is that the hotels.com map linked to the hotel listing shows the hotel in COMPLETELY THE WRONG LOCATION. I...

"I stayed here on 02/03/2023 the pictures of the hotel itself looked great but the condition of the hotel is terrible and very deceiving.
First of all, the AC unit was taped together with cellotape. There was no hot water, the room was infested with mosquitos, I slept an hour but then woke up to having been bitten all over and at 4am a very large droning noise started which when I queried it, was the water pump. Not sure why they'd want to turn that on at 4am with a full house of guests!

"The Rooms are tiny and smelly and dated. Requested to change room as was staying for a whole week and they asked for more money. Other guest that arrived later had better rooms. Reception staff is out to grouch you for money at every request.
Had confirmed booking from expedia and was told they did not have the booking and it was cancelled- where in the desk clerk the night before confirmed that the room was booked for the extra night.
No natural light- windows facing the next building...
