“The Carte’s were extremely pleased with our stay for the 2025 Labor Day holiday. The house was amazing, clean and Phil was extremely helpful with answering our questions about the area. The best part of our trip was by far the wild horses and the seclusion of the Rusty Crab. We recommend booking a visit at this house and giving it a 10 out of 10!!!”

“We found a lot to love about Herbst Cottage! While the layout is a little unconventional (the huge master bedroom is the only direct route in and out of the house to the back decks and pool), the spaces were big enough for 10 people, and the places we were most interested in, which were the kitchen, backyard/pool, and beach access, were really great. Well equipped with the exception of broken dishwashers (both indoor and tiki bar were broken most of the week) and a leaking ice machine. Response...

The rrooms were really nice and two had an adjoining bathroom. the owner provided a document that provided everything you would need to know about the house and the area. Not great for finding sea shells or sharks teeth but no rocks or anything but soft...

“The room was perfect for us. Everything was clean and tidy. The walk to the ocean was very easy just up a couple steps to the deck and out to the dunes. Beautiful views from the deck closest to the beach. We are definitely planning another long weekend stay. Although we didn’t meet with the host because of our schedule differences, they were absolutely wonderful people. We talked to Carol Ann several times by phone and text. “A great place to stay. Ocean very close to balcony. Only compliant was the elevator was not always working. Not a fancy condo but very well decorated and had everything you needed in the kitchen.”
