Gay friendly Hotels in Central Region

"Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly. Anything that was wrong or we ran out of was sorted straightaway. We booked a studio suite so had a kitchen (incl kettle, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer etc) so we were able to eat in or out. Ideally placed - 5 minutes walk from a few bus stops. Into Valetta in 15 minutes. Can travel all over the island easily. Recommend the bus card (unlimited journeys for 7 days) Plus fast ferry to Gozo. Pools you have choice of the roof (amazing views up there or the indoor pool and spa. Yes, I know a few reviews have stated they can hear noise, we could (seems to be via doors, especially banging doors) but this wasn’t enough to detract from our stay or remove a star. One of the best hotels have stayed in! Must visits are Mdina (Knights and Mdina Experience), Valetta (Lascaris War Rooms, Upper Barrakka, Saluting Battery, Monestery with secret garden, The Malta Experience) "

"Room was very clean, although we did not have a view from our room, though it did the job as it is in an ideal location just off the strand near hundreds of restaurants and the marina. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was great. View from the rooftop pool area was amazing. "

"Great hotel with amazing staff, small issues delt with by maintenance quickly. Breakfast choices amazing with a barista and fresh orange juice machine and a wide selection of food choices. Hopefully will be returning next month."

"The hotel was very nice, hotel staff were great and super helpful. If you have a car for your stay you can usually park on the street nearest the university no problem. Our only complaint was the bed. The mattress wasn’t the greatest. But since we were out all day and we were completely exhausted it didn’t cause too much of a concern."

"1. Construction in alley behind the hotel was loud every morning—not controllable by the hotel though 2. Add toilet paper holders to the rooms and common bathrooms "

"Lovely hotel rooms very big and quiet massive bed. Staff very helpful. Lovely large roof top pool overlooking bay the only negative is the sun loungers get fully taken in the mornings but usually able to get one in the afternoons, it was noted that some beds have towels placed on them but you dont see anyone using them. Pool towels are supplied when you go to the pool. You cant take your own drinks to pool as theres a bar and you're expected to buy from them. The only negative is it's new hotel and advertised indoor pool which is one of the reasons i booked this hotel, unfortunately this was not open and they had no idea when it would be ready. Plenty of eateries and shops in walking distance and brilliant bus services running regularly at bottom of street on the main road a few minutes walk.to bottom of street."
