“They basically have everything you need. The only recommendations I have are bring a can opener and containers for food. My favorite part was the margarita blender and karaoke machine down stairs. Very nice touch!”

“Can we just put our card on file for this location EVERYTIME we visit Houston!! The host was very nice when I called her before check-in. Yes I was able to call her which means a lot because before finding this location I had a bad experience with no communication from the host which made me feel uncomfortable with my reservations. I will make sure to reserve this location everytime!!”

“It is a good value although the property is pretty dated. Like many of the buildings in Gal Island it is probably from the 1920's. We did like the pool setup but we were not sure how clean it was as the water is hazy. Within walking distance of the beach and lots of cool attractions. Room was big bathroom was tiny. We stayed in room 7. Our patio view caught a little of the ocean. Expect older and worn not new and shiny. Enjoy the nostalgia!”

The ample parking made it easy to access the seawall, and the location is perfect—within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The host was very accommodating, communicated clearly throughout my stay, and even went out of his way to share great restaurant recommendations and local things to do. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone visiting the area.”
