My wife, myself, and our 2 children stayed here before a cruise departing from Galveston. We had an issue with the faucet handles in the bathroom and a loud clicking noise all night long from the smoke detector. Since it was late when we checked in and these issues happened overnight, I spoke with front desk staff the next morning who gave me the business card of the property manager, David. I emailed David who IMMEDIATELY emailed me back with a sincere apology and intervened generously on our behalf. I have no doubts whatsoever about booking another stay at this BEAUTIFUL hotel and was sad we could only stay for one night without opportunity to explore beautiful Galveston. Please consider staying here as the level of service, rooms, and nice continental breakfast will serve your family exceptionally well.

Right on the coast, has reciprocal pool access at another hotel (need a car to access it, though, not walkable). Rooms were well-appointed, lots of dining options, next to the downtown area, great value.

We enjoyed the location - near shopping, dining, and the cruise terminal. Continental breakfast options were nice (muffins, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, mill). The room and bathroom size were good, but the bathroom didn't have a fan.
