“We had a family night away here Great central hotel on the main street, We went to the sister hotel on the sunday and used the leisure facilities which were great. We had food in the bar which was lovely and great service Only thing I would say is there were groups of people coming back at 2am,3am,4am and they were congregated in the hallways and very loud. There was no one walking the floors to reduce the noise which I think in a city hotel is always useful when there are groups of people, so……

“Everything about this place is clean and tidy. My only complaint is that the room was small. No place to put a small weekend suitcase in the bedroom and the bathroom needs some small shelves for tooth paste ,razor, etc. Just Continental breakfast was all that was available in the morning.”

“Staying at Woodhill house was like a step back in time. We stayed in the coach house, 17th century! We walked into the village for supper. And had a great evening. Breakfast the next morning was so well done.”

““Recently refurbished” would not describe our room. Many stains on the rug made us not want to walk without shoes on. Shower area was unsatisfactory. Bar service was poor. Wouldn’t stay again.”
