“The location and surroundings of Redcastle Hotel can not be beaten. To enjoy your breakfast looking out onto Lough Foyle is a dream. Catherine and the reception staff are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was a little disappointing but the food we had in the Captains Bar was excellent - would highly recommend the chicken wings. Rooms were spacious clean and modern”

“The room was very clean but the single bed mattress was a sinking ship. There was a lot of noise from the outside boiler, so not helpful to sleep. It's a pity that they provide a kettle and coffee tea products, however not a single bottle of water to make it. Being a 4 star hotel, they are lacking in star attention. The pool really needs updating, lots of scratches on the feet from damaged tiles and it requires a hat, which we didn't know and you have to pay for it. Breakfast was good, but more……
