Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜

I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The space was great, especially the sitting room area. We really enjoyed our stay here except for one odd thing - the property manager scheduled carpet cleaning for the middle of our 2 night stay. I don't normally check my email while on vacation, but I just happened to check and saw a message that carpet cleaners would be coming. There is not a safe at the property and even if we locked our travel documents in our suitcases, there's nothing stopping a thief from taking the whole suitcase. So we...

THANK YOU, THANK YOU... Uber failed to pick us up so we missed our bus to Stanstead Airport. We had turned our key in and it was cold and rainy. We called the manager. He told us how to get back into the building, got us a ride the 120 miles to the airport and couldn't have been kinder. Not many people will go the extra mile as this man did.
