“The location & view from the balcony with a sea view is great but the room & hotel generally is very dated. Bearing in mind the cost we paid for 1 night, not good value. We were very underwhelmed. Staff were friendly enough though.”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Easily accessible location with lots of parking. Hotel spacious and checking in was quick and easy. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual facilities. Restaurant food was very good and plenty of selection for breakfast.”

“We had two rooms in the main house on the top floor. We did not see the inside of the lodges. Experia had a good late offer on a Deluxe Superior Room (which the hotel itself wouldn’t price match) which worked out the same price as a standard sea view room that we had booked through the hotel directly. The rooms were a good size and standard (especially the Superior). The bathrooms in both rooms were a bit tired and perhaps most disappointing was the bath tap mixer shower which just provided a……

“Due to a sad incident at a festival it was cancelled and book Burley Manor last minute and late at night. The staff on arrival were so welcoming. I loved my room, and the lounges the hotel offered. Waking to the views was delightful. Overall, I had a great stay.”
