The bathroom was dirty, with a variety of black hair on the floor, indicating it had not been cleaned. It was disgusting. We had to strip our own bed and there were stains on the mattress pad, further contributing to the impression of uncleanliness. When I complained to the owner, he did not even……

“Excellent stay! We couldn’t be happier with our time at this cottage. We enjoyed using their four complimentary kayaks (they had life jackets and paddles for us), had a fire at night (host supplied free chopped firewood), grilled out burgers on the grill, and rented a pontoon boat and wave runner (Lake Winnebago Boat & WaveRunner Rentals is next door. The host (Brad) who owns this cottage also owns the boat rental place next door). We even did some fishing (there is a bait shop also next door)……

“Amazing place! Comfortable furniture and interesting vibe! Jim and Connie were wonderful hosts and provide so many thoughtful amenities. We loved our stay at the Chouse.”

“We rented this duplex for two weeks and found it to be very clean and updated. Any time we had a question, she answered immediately and was very helpful. We highly recommend staying here if you are in this area.”
