“Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. “I went to several places in Sri Lanka (the more expensive and the lesser) and I can honestly say I had the best time at this accommodation. I stayed in a tent by the river and the sounds of nature are incredible. "A lot of ants in the room even after cleaning. The laundry price is not clearly stated and it did not seems to be very well washed. I noticed some missing socks after departure. The outlets are definitely placed randomly. To plug your tools or even the kettle i'ts doable but you need some imagination sometimes... We had hot water 2 days out of 5. Basically if other people in the hotel have a shower it affects lower floors so not very convenient especially because we got sick during this stay so cold shower is difficult even with a very good weather."
